The Steyr Mannlicher Zephyr II is the rebirth of the original Zephyr rifle, which was produced from 1955 through 1971. This new rifle takes cues from the original Zephyr’s build quality, and also sets new standards in the hunting-style, bolt-action, rimfire rifle segment. It features a classic European walnut stock with a Bavarian cheek piece and fish scale checkering. The Zephyr II has a tang safety, detachable 5-round box magazine, and comes with a threaded barrel option for all calibers. The cold hammer forged barrel with Mannox finish make for tough, reliable design that will withstand the elements while out in the field. This lightweight bolt-action, weighing only 5.8 pounds, is available in .17 HMR, .22 Long Rifle, and .22 WMR.

Shoots great Review by Duckhunter1
Superb .22 rifle. Shoots like the all star everyone else has commented on. Sighted in at 50 yds and on a poor rifle rest I was able to shoot within a quarter size group. Two things to improve on are the bolts stiff action, hopefully with more use it will loosen up a bit and for the price please include a second clip. It's not been easy to get a second one for a spare. Love the gun! (Posted on 10/10/2018)
Unbelievably accurate Review by Gee

More Than A Pretty Face Review by Magus21
This is my second time to try and review this rifle so hopefully this one will actually make it be posted on the site. I mounted a Vortex 6 by 18 by 44 Crossfire 2 scope bore sighted it and took this girl to the range. Sighted in at 50 m and a five shot group some of them literally through the same hole pretty much obliterated a nickel-sized bullseye. Moved on to 75 and then 100 m and at 100 m was able with great consistency four out of five shots hit a NRA baby chicken silhouette which is about one and a quarter by 1 and 1/2 inch with the sweet spot that is about 1 inch by 1 inch. Just an awesome little rifle in terms of reliability and accuracy. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for either a small game hunting rifle or for a very accurate target rifle. Thank you for a great little rifle. Review by Allen S.
I just wanted to comment on the new Zephyr ll rifle. You all did a great job. Now if we could get it chambered in .17Machll I don't think we could be any happier. Thank you for a great little rifle. (Posted on 5/21/2018)
More than just a pretty face! Review by Magus21
I mounted a Vortex Crossfire 2 6x18x44 and sighted it in for 50 meters. I shot a 5 shot Group which pretty much obliterated the nickel sized bullseye on my target I then moved on to 75 meters shooting the smallest versions of the NRA animal silhouettes. It was no problem to hit the small chicken which is about 1" by 1 1\2“at that distance. I've then moved out to 100m with much the same result. With just a little bit of practice and scope adjustment I was hitting the small chicken about four out of five times consistently at 100m. This is a very impressive little rifle it took me a little getting used to it but once I did it is an amazingly accurate rifle. I would add on the days that I shot I was also dealing with a lot of heat which produced a mirage and some decent wind it really is a pretty phenomenal piece of work I would highly recommend it to anybody that's looking for an accurate high quality 22 rifle. Mount Swarovski Z3 4x12x40 on it and bore sighted it cleaned the bore shot two rounds which went into the same hole. Impressive Rifle! (Posted on 3/27/2018)
Modern classic Review by Charlie
I have 2 Zephyr II's Serial numbers are 17 apart from each other. I put the Zephyr II's in the same catagory as my Sako Finnfire II's and CZ 452 Grand Finales. The Zephyr II's are a pleasure to shoot and represent "pride in ownership". In a world where polymer, plastic and aluminum are the norms for many 22's, I find it refreshing to own such fine rifles as my Zephyr II's. I just wish they would come out with a full stock version. What a beautiful rifle! Review by Kahuna
As soon as my local dealer showed me the rifle, I was so impressed by the looks & feel, I immediately bought it. Yes, it is a bit pricey for a .22, but believe me, it's worth it. For the price, it should come with rings, but it doesn't. I mounted a Leupold VX-R 1,25-4x with a Hog Plex reticle. I sighted it in for 50 yds, & I was shooting 1/2 MOA consistently, even with aging eyes! This is one hell of an accurate rifle! (Posted on 2/19/2018)
